Janice started her practice in Westfield over 25 years ago, and has been
working with children and families for over 35 years. Janice offers a wide array of services
to the patients she serves through a cognitive behavioral therapeutic approach. She treats a
large variety of anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and attention deficit

Lois Nardone-Walter LCSW
Lois joined this practice more than 15 years ago. Since that time she has
worked with children, adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, emotional
regulation, ADHD and depression. She also has provided parent training. Prior to joining
the practice, Lois worked as a school social worker at an alternative school, as well as social
worker for adolescents and young adults involved with the criminal justice system. Lois is
a CBT trained therapist who also incorporates various modalities including DBT, Nurtured
Heart and Social Skills Training. She holds a supervisory certificate for clinical social
workers as well as a certification in family mediation.
Lois runs a wide variety of group for patients of all ages.

Danielle Tarsi LPC
Danielle is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in the treatment of
children, teens and families. With 20 years of clinical experience Danielle joined the
practice over five years ago following 9 years working in the Westfield School District. Her other
clinical experience includes in-home counseling, crisis screening and intensive outpatient
psychiatric services. Danielle is extremely passionate about her work with extensive
experience in treating depression, anxiety, school refusal, ADHD, Autism Spectrum
Disorders, emotion regulation, parenting skills, peer relationships, effective communication
skills, and self-esteem. She utilizes a person-centered approach to build rapport with her
clients and incorporates various treatment modalities uniquely tailored to her client’s
needs. These include CBT, DBT, Play Therapy, Nurtured Heart, and Social Skills Training.
Danielle currently runs a middle school anxiety/social skills group for girls, a
middle school social skills group for boys.

Lucy Palmer LCSW
Lucy has been with our practice for over four years. Prior to working at this private practice, Lucy worked in a
variety of different school settings, including positions at specialized out-of-district schools
as well as public schools. She worked with students ranging from elementary to high school
age, with diagnoses ranging from non-verbal and verbal autism spectrum disorder (ASD),
attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), non-verbal learning/processing disorders
(NVLD) and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). Lucy provides individual therapy and
parenting sessions to the multiple families that she serves on a weekly basis. She has also
been facilitating social skill groups during her time here at the practice, ranging
from middle school girl’s groups and elementary school boy’s groups.

Christi Carducci LCSWChristi Carducci is a Licensed School Social Worker who has more than 20 years clinical experience working
with children, teens and families. She has dedicated her career to enhancing the emotional, social, and academic well-being of children/teens ranging from ages 5 to 18. Christi provides individual, family and group counseling, utilizing solution-focused counseling, techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, DBT and play therapy, while incorporating mindfulness techniques. She has extensive experience working with children/teens exhibiting anxiety, depression, school refusal, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, emotional regulation disorders, OCD, behavioral disabilities, and social skills deficits.
Christi facilitates conflict resolution sessions, teaching mediation skills and promoting peaceful interactions among peers. This involves working with students who often face significant emotional and behavioral challenges; which incorporates helping them achieve personal, family and academic success. She runs groups pertaining to transitions between various educational stages to ensure success for new academic and social challenges. Christi has 12 years experience working in alternative school settings, where she provided clinical counseling to specialized students requiring individualized attention and unique educational approaches through IEPs and 504s.
As a Certified Crisis Responder, Christi manages acute distress situations, risk assessments and is a lead responder for the Traumatic Loss Coalition of Union County (TLC). Christi is also certified as Loss and Grief Specialist, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) , she has completed training for Psychological and Mental Health First Aid under Dr. Robert Macy. She is a member of Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care through the TLC and a member of NASW.
